The Immigration and Naturalisation Service of the Netherlands (IND) and the corresponding diplomatic missions establish annual limits and specific application methods depending on your passport. While some nationalities enjoy unlimited places, others must face high competition where vacancies run out rapidly.

Details by nationality and demand:

• Argentina: 100 annual quotas. It presents very high competition, so places usually run out in a few hours or days after the official annual opening.

• Australia, Canada, and New Zealand: Unlimited quotas. The application is open all year round and, having no limit, there is no risk of running out or competition.

• South Korea: 200 annual quotas through an active digital pre-registration. Demand is moderate and places usually last for several months before being filled.

• Hong Kong: 100 annual quotas. 20 appointments are gradually released on the 1st of each month (starting in January). Monthly competition is high and they run out quickly.

• Japan: 200 annual quotas with pre-registration opening on April 1st. Competition is high; quotas usually run out quickly and the system is suspended as soon as the limit is reached.

• Taiwan: 100 annual quotas. Registration is only enabled in 3-week windows during March, October, and February. It presents stable availability and they rarely run out instantly.

• Uruguay: 100 annual quotas. Competition is high and vacancies run out as the appointments exclusively enabled for the months of April and May are filled.
