The success of any migration application lies in documentary precision. The Singapore model is distinguished globally by its technological efficiency: the initial phase is completely dematerialized. Unlike other destinations that require the delivery of physical folders to consular offices, the Ministry of Manpower (MOM) demands that the file be submitted entirely through its digital platform eServices. Below, we detail the fundamental pieces that must integrate your application.

Digital format and universal requirements
To ensure that the automated system does not reject the application due to a simple technical error, it is imperative that each uploaded document meets strict specifications: all files must be in PDF or JPEG format, and their individual weight must not exceed 2MB.
The base documentation that all nationalities (Australia, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Japan, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Switzerland, the United Kingdom, and the United States) must have prepared includes:
Valid passport: Clear copy of the main biographical data page.
Proof of solvency: This is done via an online sworn declaration. However, the candidate must have a recent bank statement ready in case the system or the officer in charge decides to conduct a financial audit.
Administrative fee: Preparation for the payment of the SGD 175 issuance fee, which is paid only in the final stage of the process.
The academic filter: Documentation for graduates and students
Given that this visa is a tool for attracting young talent, educational evidence is the core of the file. Requirements vary according to your current status and nationality:
For university graduates (All nationalities): Must attach a copy of their official university degree or, failing that, the complete and consolidated academic transcript.
For active students (6-month General Program): Citizens of France, Germany, Hong Kong, Japan, the Netherlands, Switzerland, the United Kingdom, and the United States must present a copy of their student card along with an official letter from the university. This letter must indicate enrollment status, full name, nationality, and date of birth.
For active students (12-month Oceania Program): Citizens of Australia and New Zealand face greater scrutiny. In addition to the basic data, their university letter must obligatorily indicate the exact year of study they are currently taking, to prove the minimum requirement of two completed years.
Institutional golden rule: In all cases of active students, the university letter must not be older than three (3) months from its date of issuance to be considered valid.
Logistical requirements for the in-person stage
There are vital documents that, although they do not block the initial data upload on day one of the application, are unavoidable requirements for the final stage.
Once the candidate steps on Singaporean soil and heads to the Employment Pass Services Centre to issue their physical card, they must irrefutably demonstrate that they hold private medical and travel insurance (with coverage for 6 or 12 months, depending on their nationality) and possess a return ticket to their home country, or the excess liquid funds to purchase it. Without these logistical guarantees, the government will not print the final work pass.
